DOWELL3D Filament ABS Glass Fiber compound is a composite material
made by adding glass fiber as a reinforcement to ABS resin. This combin-
ation results in a material with improved mechanical properties such as higher
strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability.

Usage of DOWELL3D ABS Glass Fiber Filament
▷ABS Glass Fiber has strong contractibility, Using raft or brim or reduce the speed for
the first layer could help avoid warping. Volatile gas will be generated during printing,
so it is required to use sealed printing. Glass fiber reinforced ABS adds glass fiber, which
is abrasive. Generally, these fibers will quickly accelerate the nozzle wear of brass nozzle.
It's strongly recommended that use nozzles made of stainless steel or other hardened alloys.
▷Tips for Printing
1. Compared with PLA, PETG and other filaments, ABS filament require a higher ambient
temperature during the printing process to help release residua stress during the part molding
process. Please keep the printer closed during the printing process to effectively avoid warping
and cracking of printed parts. lf the device has a heating chamber function, it is recommended
to set the heating chamber temperature between 60-80℃.
2. If the ABS-GF filament is unpacked for a long time and the print quality is found to be reduced
during printing, please dry the filament at 70-80C for 4 hours.
3. Although ABS-GF filament has a smaller odor than similar filaments, it is still recommended to
place the printer in a ventilated environment when printing.
4. The glass fiber inside the filament will cause wear to the nozzle, so it is recommended to use a
nozzle with a hardened hardness.
